http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Watson-c96326, will be relieved of his burdens once bowler Shaun Tait plays in the squad. Watson is eager to share time alongside Tait in the ongoing Indian Premier League, season 4.
Watson is depending on Australian bowler Shaun Tait to sustain Rajasthan at the apex of the points table of the ongoing Indian Premier League-4 after they rose to the top with three home victories on the Jaipur wickets. "I'd love him to play because it takes a little bit of pressure off me, him bowling 155 kmh. When Shaun's played he's bowled very well; it's just trying to find the perfect balance for the side that's going to suit the conditions we're playing in."
The performance of the Rajasthan roster showed an erratic trend in the beginning of the ongoing Indian Premier League-4 however, they picked up momentum by prevailing in the home matches. They have landed a berth at the top of the tables with 11 points.
Watson added that positioning the star bowler will be a crucial task. It will be difficult to find him an appropriate spot because four overseas players are already part of the squad. "There's no doubt having Tait, trying to find a spot for him especially on the faster, bouncier wickets in general is going to be I think very important, but because you've only got four overseas players it does make it very difficult to fit Tait in there,” Watson deliberated.
The right-handed batsman reckons that the Rajasthan Royals skipper, Shane Warne, is highly motivated after observing the signs of deterioration from the Rajasthan in last year’s IPL. He admired Warney’s bowling prowess in the ongoing IPL season. Watson reasoned that the captain may want to quit the contest with an impactful tournament whenever he makes the decision to end his game.
The all-rounder maintained that his team-mates have settled into their roles and have pulled of a brilliant performance in the last few fixtures of the ongoing IPL. The right-arm bowler is especially content with his bowling performance in the tournament so far. Although he did not grab many wickets, Watson was able to restrict opponents from scoring big runs.
