Injured West Indies' fast bowler, Shannon Gabriel, is unlikely to be fit in time for next month’s home Test series against New Zealand, starting in Antigua from July 25.
This was revealed by the fast bowler during a media interaction on Wednesday, he however hoped to be fit for the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 later this year.
"I don't think I'll be ready for the New Zealand series,” Gabriel told the Trinidad Express
on Wednesday. “[Closer] to the end of the year, there's a tour to Bangladesh ... hopefully I can be on that team," the injured pacer added further.

Gabriel, the 24-year-old right-arm medium-pacer from Trinidad, sustained a stress back injury during his debut Test against England at Lord’s last month and was forced to return home for a complete recovery and rehabilitation programme.
Tino Best had replaced him in the Test squad in England for the remainder of the series.

"I've been [recuperating for] three weeks now, the pain is not there anymore," said the Trinidadian fast bowler when asked about the recovery speed of his injury. "So [it's about] getting more fit and stronger now, and [then it's]
back to cricket,” he further added.
About making his Test debut at historic Lord’s venue, Gabriel said, “It's every cricketer's dream to play at Lord's and it just happened to be me. [Now I must] get back from injury and address the selectors once more."
The Trinidadian has so far played 25 First-class matches claiming 67 wickets at an average of 29.32 and an economy rate of 3.36.
