Shanny and Brian Campbell going to New Jersey??

Can't see why Brian Campbell would want to play in New Jersey.  I would think he'd want to play on a team that is offense-oriented.  Shanahan might go there though.

Shanny is a waste of money...yeah he still scores 15-20 goals a year and is key on the PP, but not for his price tag.  He runs the risk of putting a team into cap problems and not being able to pay a youngster who might have a break out year.  As for Campbell, he is one h**l of a defenseman and any team would be lucky to take him, once again, as long as there is cap room.

That is interesting. would show a bit of commetment to the offense.  NJ would be very interesting. I am surprised to see what people are throwing out there. Atl I guess is tired of being a one man show. They may be getting ready for a serious run, into the playoff, if they land someone like Campbell.

There are alot of teams intrested in Campbell i think he will sign with either Ottawa or Ny Rangers he said hes not going to the west

You just gave me a 3quarter dog...NICE....I have not herd that yet but We could sure use it. plus how nice would it be for Shanny to hang his Jersey where he started we just have to power wash the Rangers off of him.Not that Lang or Elias are bad leaders but Shanny could be huge for moral.

Cambell...Great player would love to have him.

Shanny will probably ask for too much if he even goes to NJ. After signing Pandolfo and Clarkson, Tallakson (spelling) and the other they probably wont go for Shanny, and i would like Campbell but i don't know if he will come to NJ but i hope he signs

That's no surprise.  Doug Wilson granted NJ, NYR, and OTT permission to speak with Campbell last week.  

What IS surprising is that the Blackhawks have listed Campbell as their #1 priority.  

Also surprising is that the Thrashers are ready to shell out $42 million over 5 years for him.  

Campbell may miss his family back home, but he sure as heck will be able to buy mansions wherever he goes with that kinda dough coming his way!
