  1. PH3

    Shape of PH3 should be triangular pyramid. Phosphorus atom at one of the corner and the other three corners havinf one each of hydrogen atom.

    Polarity of PH3 should be low.

    I persume that you are interested to know solubility in water. PH3  has a very poor solubility with water.

    CO2

    Shape is linear. It has low polarity. It dissolves in water due to chemical reaction with water to give carbonic acid (H2CO3).

    CO2 + H2O  -------> H2CO3

    SO2

    Shape is angular. Polarity low. Dissolves in water fairly well due to a chemical reaction to give sulphurous acid (H2SO3).

    SO2  +  H2O   ---------------> H2SO3

    The term soluble  is generally used when there is no chemical reaction ( for example sodium chloride is soluble (dissolves) in water. Sodium chloride remains as sodium chloride in water solution and chemically there is no change. On the other hand NH3, SO2, SO3, CO2, etc. dissolves in water due to a reaction to give another chemical entity.
