Shaq & Kobe vs Pippen & MJ ?

This is a good question, because it would be quite a matchup.  I think both combos would be capable of beating the other, so it's not like this matchup is lopsided either way.  So the question to be answered is who would be more likely to win, and if they were to play multiple two on two games, who would win more of them.

I think MJ in his prime is better than Kobe in his prime.  They have similar games though and both are strong defensively.  But I think having Shaq as an inside presence over Pippen in a two on two game would be a tremendous advantage.  And it's not like MJ is going to completely dominate Kobe...Kobe would make the matchup with him a competitive one even if he got outplayed slightly.

So given all of that, I would choose the Kobe/Shaq combo over MJ/Pippen.

Shaq doesn't really have talent.. he's just a big guy. Kobe is okay but MJ would destroy them... Pippen is so-so, he would help. MJ and Pippen would dominate.

lets be real here, the bulls faced some good opponents in the finals.

the lakers beat, the nets, pacers & 6ers...3 teams no one in the world gave a shot in h**l to even compete.

i read phil jacksons book "the last season" & ive watched a few documentaries on dennis rodman & based on what those 2 said, i dont see how some spoiled premaddonas like that laker team would ever beat professionals like the bulls.
