Shaq would win cause at 22 shaq already had a little nasty streak, where as Dwight is just now finding his. Besides Shaq is just big for no reason and its hard to whoop somebody but when they are like that.

i think Dwight would- i remember Shaq fighting Barkley back in the day- and i think Sir Charles got the best of him.  Although Dwight doesn't seem like a fighter.  Gotta go with "Superman"

Shaq. He was pure power. he was also bigger and stronger than Howard at 22. i think the ground bound version has messed with every body's memory... but Shaq was as athletic as Howard in his day. and played against actual centers (the dream, pat ewing, zo, david robinson, dikembe mutumbo... and so forth) instead of the PF's that mascaraed as centers these days.

MJ was asked in an interview, "Has anyone ever intimidated you on the court?". He replied, "Shaq, because I couldn't fathom how big he was."
