I think Maria has Ana's number at this stage. She beat her handly the last 2 times they played. Sharapova doesn't want to lose her superior looks, game, star power to Ivanovic.

Sharapova leads their head to head right now and probably will continue to.  The only time Ivanovic was able to defeat Sharapova was during 07 when she had a serious shoulder injury, and when her shoulder started to get better around Dec. Sharapova crushed her in the Year End Championships and then overpowered her in the AUS Open earlier this year.  Ivanovic is a great player but she isn't able to overpower Sharapova when she is healthy.
