Sharapvoa Chokes/Davenport Quits?

Maybe Martina should stick to modeling and selling Canon cameras, eh? Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Martina fan, but this is still another unexplainable loss. I tell you, it's the new hairdo. LOL

On a sad note, poor Lindsay...this was her last shot. Injury took her out. I especially loved her because she made Sharapova (at 6'2") look like a midget...Lindsay is, of coure, 6' 4-1/2" tall.

Maria had a bad day, it happens to the best players sometimes.  She's still one of the most consistent players in the slams. As for Lindsay, I saw this coming when she pulled out of Easbourne.  She said earlier this year that her main goal in her comeback was to be able to play in the Olympics again, and today she was just named to the Olympic team in both singles and doubles (partering Liezel Huber), so it's not surprising that she pulled out of Wimbledon having already secured her spot on the team.
