  1. As far as India is concerned the only reason of corruption is our Judicial system.Only these 1000 or 2000 judges are responsible for such miserable condition of our country. No leaders, no social system nothing people are not worried about this part b'cos they no it can be manipulated easily.People prefer going to mafias to get their job done not the court b'cos the procedure is  so time consuming. There have been discussions on T.V. channels several times thet justice delayed is justice denied but still nothing has been done. There should be some fixed time for every case lodged with the consent of both the parties a date (max 6 mnths) should be fixed for the decision in between these parties are said to collect all the papers, evidences and witnesses important in the case.In case of medical problem on that date the testimony should take place through video confrencing.

There should be seperate fast track court for people who are given powers by the govt. Right from a Pune to P.M. any case related to their profession should be heard there.

People should fear that in few mnths I might be behind bars then the situation will improve.

  2. Get rid of Bush and those who have supported his big business efforts. Bush has ignored our constitution twisting it to fit what he wants and disregarding the needs and interest of the people. When people are laboring at minimum wages and the CEOs are making millions of dollars a month (or in the case of the Oil CEO - millions a day; over 400 million dollars in one year) and our government just stands by - We need SUPER WAGE level in our income tax. Those who make more than x*x dollars a year would be required to show the source and a balance between other wage earners in that source and pay a rate of 80% over a reasonable amount; AND NO deductions that alows them to pay less tax than many of their lowest paid employees.

  3. citizen should be vigilants to stop, prevent and punish corruption from government officials. An example: Voters can organize to check our representatives, senators, ecc.

  4. I think that  Government meetings should simulcast on television, or internet

There should be a way to communicate public concerns through interactive chat, or email, or instant message, or telephone

Part of the problem is elected officials don't know how to deal with the public.

watching the facial contortions, and  hearing the flippant attitude of elected officials surpasses any special effect Hollywood could ever hope to create,

    Get involved in Local Politics

  5. At one time or other, we have experienced the corruption. It has reached cancerous levels that could not be controlled.

  6. the police deffinitly, most of them are trained in sociology and ****, im taking that class and i have to say its the most racist and judgemental thing ive ever heard.

i was once arrested on a bull **** assault charge, i was arguing with my mother about something, she hit me so hard i fell and knocked over a shelf in a store. i was pissed off but i wasnt dumb enough to hit her and everyone in the store saw that i didnt.

however, when cops got there, all they saw was an upset woman, a messed up store, and a pissed off teenager, so guess who got arrested.

dont worry, when i went to trial and got equited, i got every last cop involved in deep trouble lol, corrupt *******, serves them right.

  7. While it may be an exercise in futility to try to control what others do, one can at least partially control what oneself does. There are a few simple principles to follow, and if these are observed, one can really do little more.

    Some of these include:

Tell the truth, don't tell lies.

Don't do to others what you yourself hate done to you; do to others what you would want done to yourself.

Keep yourself and your belongings as clean as is practical.

Don't be too proud...if you need help, ASK.

Know when enough is enough, and take a break!

Don't complain if you have no ideas for a practical, realistic solution to the problem.

If you feel frustrated, you're probably forgetting something.

Keep your nose out of other people's business.

It is usually best to let sleeping dogs lie...

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

What you think you want now, you will pray to get rid of later!

  8. Corruption is everywhere. especially in schools with teachers-unions where teachers focus more on their personal gains then educating students. thats why its so hard to fire bad teachers. they are morally corrupting our society.

  9. We had 8yrs of it during the clinton regime. Its all through government at nearly every level and it would take years, decades to remove.

Consistent voting of conservative candidates into office is the 1st step into the removal of government corruption.

Coincidentally, its also the 1st step into reduced taxation, more limited government intrusion and better national defense.

  10. This topic has been beaten to death. After reading all pros and cons on the subject supplemented by personal experience,I can confidently say that it is the general populace

who must be put in the dock for the basic fact of contributing to this malady in our society. One

of our former Prime Ministers is on record for having quipped(?) that in India corruption is a way of life.Tie that to another observation made by a person no less than one of the former Chief Justices of the Supreme Court of India that on a conservative estimate  at least 20% of the judiciary is corrupt.Don't you think that these two remarks speak volumes on the subject?Next in our analysis who do you think should feature?Of course, the list of guys who are corrupt. In this class would fall people in the government which should cover all areas including semi, quasi and any other sub classes one may think of.There are other categories of

employees and employers who also would fill the bill.More categories down the line can be listed but these do not account for the major part of the monetary consideration involved. In all this hierarchy the top guns are the politicians who have developed corruption to a fine art ably assisted by---------.I refrain from identifying these enablers for reasons I cannot

disclose.Coming now to the crux of the matter

viz.the ways and means "to stop or reduce this

serious ailment".We go back to the root cause which I mentioned at the outset. The people or should I say the electorate. If only this class

decides to show the door to the candidates not

worthy of trust and firmly stands upto to any pressures or inducements at the time of elections and tops it by holding the elected representative to accountability, can we then

have some hope of progressing downward in the list-sad to say that we are almost at the top-of the most corrupt nations in the world.

  11. for that to happen we will have to kill every one employed by the government + the government

every person employed by the government + the government is 100% corrupt

people who are supposed to check corruption are them self corrupt.
