I've got a three modem for mobile broadband. Is there a way I can share the connection between 2 wifi laptops?

    I think that windows xp has a built in wizard for sharing an internet connection and all you need to do is setup a network.

  3. There are two ways to do this!  

    One - the preferred way is to get a 3G router which turns your cell card into wifi. DLINK, Linksys, etc. Like

    Two - Use ICS (internet connection sharing) and an AD-Hoc network to connect your two laptops. Here is MS tutorial on setting that up.

    for Vista

    (This method just uses what you have, no additional hardware is needed. - it will "slow" the connection somewhat)

    Either will connect both machines, the router is the better solution.
