Sharing a wireless/wired connection between computers

ok well i have a computer in my living room that has a wireless card and picks up internet wirelessly, then i have another computer in my room... i was wondering is it possible to connect my wireless computer to a router then transfer the signal through a wire to my computer in my room???? if so how???

i have a belkin router by the way

  1. Your Belkin router should have ethernet ports on the back so as long as you have one in your computer you can connect through a wired connection this way using an ethernet cable.  The computer should then automatically detect the internet connection from the router.  If you are happy having a cable running from one room to another then this is the simplest way, otherwise you could get a wireless adapter for the other computer and connect that way.
