Sharjah Vs Dubai ???

Question

My work place will be the Airport Free zone in Sharjah but my child needs to go to Cambridge School in Al Garhoud in Dubai. Where do you suggest we should live-Sharjah or Dubai? I have a cap for rentals at AED 70 K. Can I get a 2 BR apt for this price in Al Ghusais? or would it be more comfortable for us to be staying in Corniche or Al Nahda in Sharjah? A detailed analysis will help us decide.

Coming from Dubai to Sharjah is not usually a issue in the morning... its traveling within Sharjah that can kill most of your time.

I'd recommend that you move near your child's school in Dubai so he/she doesn't have to get up too early. I think that should be your highest priority. A proper sleep will enable him/her to do good at school.

Dubai is also a better place overall.

if yr child has to go to school in dubai then u should live in dubai its not fair on a child to travel that road every day particularly if its on a hot bus.   al ghusais is one of the cheaper areas try also like al baraha which is the area opposite the corniche u should find something there for yr budget, otherwise if u r driving yr child to school maybe something on the road to al ghusais from shj cant remember what its called parallel to dubai/shj road.  if u prefer t o live in shj as u will get a better standard of accommodation for yr money then why not consider a school in shj, does cambridge not have branch in shj? otherwise there is our own english high school and other indian curriculum ones or some good price uk curriculum like wesgreen where my kids used to go years ago.  good luck.

live in al nahda , its a wonderfull neighborhood , ask let ur son register in any other school in sharjah plus from nahda 2 airport sharjah 10 min or 15 min cuz ur going to opposite of the traffic . the traffic is from sharjah to dubai
