Sharkbite vs other brands?

How much better are Sharkbite plumbing connectors than the off-brands that copy them? I was looking for Sharkbite at Lowes but only found an off-brand and just want to know how likely they are to be good.

watts are bigger but work ok, watts have inline quick connect valves that come in handy, sharkbite has mip's, fip's, ell's and couplings and they are made of brass which is sturdier than plastic. Both can connect all forms of poly to cpvc or copper. It really depends on what you want to use it on which one I would use.
