Sharks in Tampa Bay?

Question

I swim here all the time, and i was just wondering, since there are great whites in the gulf, and tampa bay and gulf of mexico connect, is it possibe for great whites to go there? Or is it to shallow. I would also be interested in a dive here. Is it murky?

There are seldom sharks,  at least in the bay and inlands but out in the gulf there are... plenty
