Sharks in the carribean???

im going to a small carribean island (st. Barths) this march and am very afraid of sharks. should I worry about them there?

  1. No it's not something you need to worry about. But if you like scuba diving, then seeing sharks is part of its attraction (which is what the links below talks about)...and that's when you'll be able to see and be up close to them.

    If you're just planning on beaching it, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Sharks don't usually come close to shore. Besides, most upscale resorts are going to make sure their guests are not in any kind of danger.

    So go and have a great time and fully enjoy the warm ocean!


  2. I wouldn't worry about that too much.  Just use common sense and have a great time!

  3. I don't really know if there are sharks there, but just make sure you have no wounds when you go in the water. They probably won't go after you if you don't have blood escaping from your body.
