Roman Sharonov has warned the Russian Premier League defenders to tighten their laces when they play in the UEFA Europa League tie against Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao
News in Russian media suggest that Rubin Kazan are likely to sign Zenit St. Petersburg striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Bukharov-c4555, after Kurban Berdyev hinted at re-signing the 27-year-old Russian attacker, whom they sold to the defending league
champions two years ago.
Bukharov signed a four-year contract at Petrovsky stadium back in 2010 after widely impressing at Tsentralnyi stadium. The 6 foot 4 inches forward helped the Tatary in winning back-to-back league titles in 2008/09, 2009/10 and
2010/2011 respectively.
However, the Russian International has struggled to find first-team action at Zenit after falling behind the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Maksim-Kanunnikov-c23221 respectively.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Sharonov-c31644, who played alongside Bukharov prior to the striker’s switch to the St. Petersburg club, has welcomed the aspect of re-signing the proven-goal-scorer in the near future.
However, he warned Bukharov to think twice before joining the Kazan-based club after highlighting grown competition for places and gave examples of Solomon Rondon and Sergei Davydov respectively.
And there is little arguing to the statement that both the aforementioned strikers helped the Russian outfit in securing a decent place on the league table, having shared 8 goals between them so far this season.
“If Bukharov return to the team with the same spirit, he has every chance to be successful. I think he is a wonderful player and he it will be easy for him to adapt.”
“It is clear that we still have a chance to fight for the top places but we have to make a serious effort in regaining a foothold back at the top.” The former Terek Grozny player was quoted as saying.
The fact that Rubin have been drawn against Atletico Madrid in UEFA Europa League gives Sharonov a reason to panic, who has warned the team defenders to work harder in order to stop http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276 from scoring in the contest.
The Colombian striker has been enjoying sensational form since leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 last summer, having already scored 20 goals in all competition so far this season.
