Sharp R-1450 Microwave Oven - No Power

Question

Here is a bit more detail: Placed the coffee in the microwave to heat.
Pressed the start button, a few seconds went by and there was a funny
noise and then no power at all.I saw from another similar post that this could be a shorted high voltage capacitor.But also checking the door switches and door mounts would be warranted.Can you provide info on how to do this?I
have worked on computer logic boards changing out components, but very
little experience with soldering. Does this repair call for soldering?Reposting as I am not sure I posted correctly in recent post.Thanks.
