Sharp camcorder Broken?

Question

I bought A Sharp Camcorder; it is a WD450U.

it worked the first few recordings;

but now its not turning on.

i've tryed charging the battery; changing the SmartMedia Card and tape.

but nothing is working.

does anyone have any idea on how to fix this camera?

That camcorder has a reputation for being unreliable - I'd return it if possible.
