Sharp pain in my stomach and sore back and ribs, what could this be?

I have an incredibly sharp pain in my stomach like I've been punched repeatedly, but it's so sore I can barely stand. The pain has also spread to my ribs and my back, which is very uncomfortable.

This isn't the first time it's done this but it isn't frequent.

Have you any ideas what could be causing this?

PS: Last year I had a kidney infection which made my back really sore, do you think it could be connected?
