  1. it's probably because while you're sleeping, your neck was in a awkward position. put on some icy hot on the back of your neck. it should go away a day or so.

  2. I DONT KNOW I HAVE THE SAME, DOC GAVE PAIN KILLERS

    SORRY, GOOD PAIN KILLERS

  3. im just guessing

cramp pulled muscle or just a stiff neck (but it doesnt sound like that)

in the meantime try to ice it up and maybe get a gentle massage.

  4. u may go to doctors man

  5. Your best and most accurate source of information will be from your physician.

However, is there anything that you have been doing out of the norm that would bring on this pain? What times does it come and go? Are you stressed, tired, haven't eaten, etc.? You should take note of this as it will probably help in diagnosis.

For now, I wouldn't worry. And this is coming out of the "mouth" of a hypochondriac (for 10 years now). Primarily, when I haven't rested well the night before, I will get very scary, intense, sharp pains in various parts of my body. Including my neck, which was injured years ago in a car accident.

I know its tough, but you must think positive thoughts (like "I'm alright" or "I will be fine"), get rest, drink/eat something comforting and try not to countdown the days until your appointment. :)

  6. could be several things from pulled muscle to torn ligament . try some bengay , if it gets to bad go to the er . i get the same thing and it back injury for me . but you wont know for sure till you see the doc . good luck

  7. Comes along whilst sitting merily at the computer? I Get that ALOT. And so do many other people. I think its called Chronic Neck Pain but im not sure. Take a break from whatever your doing when it occurs and ask someone to softly massage the area for you, to ease the tense muscles.

  8. it could be your sleeping position, try to position your pillow at a higher level...or you could also have one on your lower back...
