Sharp pains 41 weeks pregnant?

i had sharp period like pains down there and up under my b***s all last night coming and going and i woke up feeling extreemely ill today i dont know if its due to anxiety over having my menbranes swept today or not but my baby is op position and is hurting me as hes pushing out ( like he wants out finally) is the pains a sign of pre labour?

what can i expect to happen today and will it hurt? im extreemely sore down there so i hope not!

You are in labor and should call your doctor and let him know.  Given the fact that you are past due and 1st labors especially aren't always what you would think of as classic contractions 5 minutes apart, he may want you to go to the hospital now.  My first labor was just really intense back pain and it turned out I was 4 cm already,... my second was just slight cramping very low and not at all in my abdomen,... more like my butt LOL every 15 minutes or so and I was already 8 cm.  Better safe than sorry!
