Sharp pains after period?

I just finished my period a week ago. I have been having sharp shooting pains in the area where I get cramps. I have never got them before. It hurts when I stand up, bend, pretty much any movement. Sometimes the pain is really bad where I can't move I am in so much pain. I have had unprotected s*x, but since I had my period I don't think I'm pregnant. What else could these sharp pains be? I don't have chlamydia. I have been tested. And so has the person I have been sleeping with.

I just started getting these pains like 30 minutes ago.

What can they be?

This sharp pain could be an indication of ovulation (the time before the next period is due) but this is just an example only.  Another possibility is that it could be related to something like a cyst (another example only).

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
