Sharpay help?

I'm auditioning for the part of Sharpay Evans in my community theatre's production of HSM.

What should I wear? What song should I sing (NOT from either HSM 1 or 2, but still from a musical preferably)? How should I act?

I've seen the movies, but I want some advice. Has anyone done this role? What'd you do to land the role? Thanks!!!!!!

Okay.. First off, just chill out. It'll be okay. Wear what you would normally wear anywear (but still nice enough to go into an audition.. Jeans and a nice shirt), sing whatever your friends tell you to like.. something that you think makes your voice sound nice, act like yourself! Don't go into an audition acting like something you're not. it will send the wrong vibe to the directors. Just be yourself and do your best, that's all anyone can expect from you.

Wear something colorful, but don't go all out in costume. Some songs that fit Sharpay- and make sure to sing them in a very self centered, bratty way, Sharpay is more about the acting than the singing:
