Sharper Image 2gb mp3 player music folders

Question

I ripped cd's and put the whole cd in the player as a folder, and it doesn't play the folders when on random.. it only plays the ones placed in there song by song. Also, I try to go into the folder and press play, and it just sends me back to the song it was on before. I don't know how to access the folder.
