Sharper Image Weatherproof Atomic Clock Model... When I replaced the batteries, the clock reset

Question

When I replaced the batteries, the clock reset with the wrong time zone. Now the time is an hour earlier than ours. I no longer have the manual & do not know how to correct this problem. I thought it would be right when Daylight Savings Time started, but it automatically set itself an hour earlier. I have punched the Mode button, but it doesn't give me the option to select a different time zone. The up & down buttons do not seem to do antyhing. Any help would be appreciated.
