Shatranj restaurant reputation Bandra Mumbai?

i hosted a party for 60 people and was suprised to find that i was beeing charged not per plate but even for people who just came to wish me and go....

is it the done thing any where else as well ??? we had an arguement and refused to pay.

Per Plate is normal industry standards, so if it anything else then it should be discussed and agreed at the time of booking which should be supported by a signed copy of agreement to the terms and conditons where there should be a mention of any exception to the industry standard
