Australian top-order batsman, Shaun Marsh, has said that he wants to prove his form in One-Day-International format of the game to strengthen his changes in the Test squad, for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
Team Austalia is scheduled to make the tour in the month of August, to play three Twenty20 matches, five ODIs and three Tests.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, the left-handed batsman said, "Yeah, definitely. It is just going to be a lot of fun. I am going to challenge myself. It is going to be tough. Sri Lankan series are usually very tough, it is hot and they usually doctor the
wickets to their style,"
"It is going to be a great challenge and I am looking forward to it," he added.
Marsh made his ODI debut against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 at Kingstown, in 2008. He has played 33 matches, scoring 1172 runs including the highest score of 112.
Marsh also claimed that he has recovered from the hamstring injury, due to which, he was not picked for the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup 2011.

Both teams, Australia and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lions-c808 have won just one Test series, that in 1999.
Marsh has not had any opportunity to play Test cricket for his national team with the presence of experienced opening batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558.
However, he plans to show his mettle in the ODI format in order to merit a call in the Test squad.
