Shaver question ?????

Hi im 13 and my birth day is comming up soon so im 14 soon.

my parents are teasing me with i will get a shaver to my birthday.

isent that embarasing? is it normal..

wouldent it be embarasing is my class mates asked what did you get for your birth day.

No it's not embarrassing, and it's a common present for a 14 year old. Persuade them to buy you a decent one.

dude ur kinda lucky cause im 12-13 and i cant get a shaver and im growing alot of facial hair and im 12!

It's a little embarrassing, but nothing to worry about. They are just teasing you about growing up. If it's not today it will be tomorrow, you will begin shaving at some point in the near future. I think I was about 15. Only needed to do it once a week, but now it's every day.

If you are growing some hair and could use a shave, it's not embarrassing at all to tell your peers about it. It's almost a pride thing "yes, I'm grown enough now to need to shave."

I'd recommend Braun, Panasonic, or a top model Norelco. Remmington is good but quite expensive.

Don't be embarrassed.  All guys have to start shaving sometime.  I started at age 14 as well.  In my case my english teacher told me in class that it was time for me to start shaving.  It is just another sign that your body is maturing....that you are becoming a man.

PS - I am now 60.
