Shaving bikini line?

My daughter and i are very close and we share just about everything. And shes only 12 but she is already needing to shave. i dont think its too young, but she has low self esteem and this makes it worse. shes not really shy though and she told me and it got me wondering, if you dont mind me asking, how do you feel about this, and what age did you start shaving down there?? and what age did you first wax it??

i havnt shaved/waxed down there yet and im over twelve i heard that shaving can cause irritation though... i dont know, if ur daughter is parading around in bikinis and feels self contious i guess she should but if not...

I started shaving when I was thirteen, I'm fifteen now, still not sexually active, but I get waxings. It's just nice to have it nice down there. Tell your daughter that it's fine, that everyone does. Because they do. She's just more womanly than girls her age.

I was in my late 20's but when I was a teen it was unheard of to do such a thing. ts a very common thing for the new generation.

i started shaving when i was 12 and my cousin introduced me to waxing when i was 13.... i just wear shorts over my bikini now

i'm 12 and i shave 'down there' but not all of it..just so it isn't a mess-  i say go ahead, hope this helps- and i'm shy too..but i'm coming out of my shell sometimes being in awkward situations and doing stuff that makes u feel self conscious helps u get stronger and be more confident.    e-mail me at [e-mail] or [e-mail]  or tell her to e-mail me :)

12 i think, start off by shaving. Wax is okay too, her choice.

mmm... *thinks* when i was in like, 8th grade i think? thats about 12 or 13 years old. never waxed yet, too afraid of the pain/afraid of the embarassing conversation i'd have to have with my mom about it.
