Shawn Michaels and Triple might induct Tyson into WWE Hall of Fame – WWE News
A recent update reveals that Shawn Michaels and Triple H will get the honour of inducting Mike Tyson into WWE’s Hall of Fame this year before WrestleMania 28. Initially, Shawn and Triple H were to call in Barry Windham, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and J.J. Dillon for the ceremony but now Dusty Rhodes will do the honours, since he was the one who wrestled with them during the late 1980s.
The reason why Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been selected for the role is that they have always been with or against Tyson whenever he has stepped in the WWE. Even though Stone Cold Steve Austin has been a regular member as well of their feuds, for some reason the management did not think of him.
The event will take place on Saturday night before WrestleMania 28. If Tyson is inducted, which is not yet confirmed, then these two high-profile superstar will honour him. Probably, this will be an honour for Triple H and Shawn Michaels themselves since Tyson is a world-renowned athlete who was once the biggest name in the boxing industry.
Triple H is scheduled to take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28. Shawn Michaels will be part of the match as a special guest referee. The match has The Undertaker as a revenge hungry fighter while Triple H is the one who will be ending the Phenom’s era, if that happens. Shawn Michaels, as always controversial, is suspected of interfering in the match to make sure The Undertaker’s streak ends. It should be noted here that Michaels tried twice to end The Undertaker’s streak but he failed. Therefore, The Undertaker was a bit hesitant of having Michaels as Shawn Michaels as special guest referee.
As for now, Shawn Michaels is in a controversial position and it is not sure as to whether he will interfere in the match to take down Triple H or The Undertaker. If Shawn Michaels interferes, it will create another controversy, giving rise to another match between Triple H and The Undertaker.
For Mike Tyson, it will be an honour to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame since he already is in the boxing Hall of Fame.
