Shawn Michaels talks about meeting Triple H on Raw – Wrestling news
Shawn Michaels made his appearance as guest on Monday Night Raw. After the show, he revealed his feelings in an exclusive interview with WWE. Video of the interview was released today by WWE. Shawn appreciated WWE for giving him the opportunity to meet Triple
H in the ring.
Shawn Michaels, Mr. WrestleMania, came face to face with Triple H to persuade him to fight the Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 in the rematch offered by the latter. However, Triple H clearly refused to do so and instead told Shawn that he will not do so since
it is not good for business.
On his face off with Triple H, Shawn stated, “Yeah, of course it was (tough). I mean, it's like two brothers. You know what I mean? We fight, we make up. We fight, we make up. But we're honest with each other. I understand all the responsibility he's got.
I get that. But at the end of the day, this is a business about winning and losing. Being the best or not being the best. He and I both made a commitment along time ago that we were both gonna try to reach that mark.”
Shawn’s comments came in reply to Triple H’s rejection of fighting the Undertaker, which was something neither HBK nor the fans expected. HBK elaborated saying that he retired so that others can do what he could not and now it is Triple H who is close to
achieve this feat. Shawn further said that he will try to persuade Triple H personally and he is confident he will agree.
WWE fans know well that Shawn Michaels has been The Undertaker’s biggest rival to date and that he has always been after The Undertaker’s streak. However, he was unable to end The Undertaker’s streak and now he wants the cerebral assassin Triple H to do
this.
The Undertaker’s seems all eager to have Triple H at WrestleMania 28 but to date Triple H has rejected his offer. If the match happens, it definitely will be the best match of this year since there is no other big match for this WrestleMania.
