  1. He's a dumbass, he should just have surgery and miss this season while the Raiders take 1st in the AFC west.

  2. Speaking as a linebacker with torn ACLs - it's his choice.

He's getting paid well to be listed on the roster.

As an injured player in recovery I'm sure the pay is less.

He makes his own choices and if he can tolerate the discomfort; I'm sure he has his eye on some goal in the future.

  3. Big mistake.  I hope he doesn't get a career ending injury just because his ego doesn't want to sit out the time for surgery to heal

  4. Big mistake. He's had four doctor's tell him to have season ending surgery. He's an adult and can make his own decisions, but he he ruins his career, there won't be much sympathy for him.

  5. Goodbye, Shawn.

  6. He's my favorite NFL player and i support his choice. He is passionate for the game and he loves it and he won't stop playing over this although it is serious. The team really needs him.

If he gets injured, that's too bad. But it's his choice and is an adult. He can do anything he wants regardless of what anybody says.

  7. As a raider fan I was upset that he will be playing this season, but thinking that there is a possiblity he'll have a career ending injury makes me smile. Go Michael Bush, Run his *** over!!!!

As a regular person, it's a risk, I would've done the surgery. It's not like the chargers are going to the superbowl with the likes of the patriots  and the jaguars. even if they make it, they could be facing the cowboys, vikings, or even the saints. He should've done the surgery now.

  8. i dont see him making 15 years in the league doing things like this but then again i dont like him; maybe i like what hes doing.
