Shawne Williams, J.J. Barea - Free agents Utah Jazz should target - NBA Feature (Part-3)
Shawne Williams:
Shawne Williams has recently played for the New York Knicks in 2010-2011 season and would prove useful for Utah Jazz for the upcoming season. He is currently a free agent and now considering playing for another team in the league.
On the other hand, the Utah Jazz management is extremely trying hard to add some potential players in its roster. As soon as the lockout ends in the league, the Jazz will certainly go after some of the available free agents.
Shawne Williams is also one of those players who have always impressed with their consistence performances. He has relatively a good experience in the league and still playing with great energy. Last year he played total 64 regular
season’s games and averaged 7.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Apart from playing for the Knicks, he has also played for the Indiana Pacers and the Dallas Mavericks in the past.
J.J. Barea:
Last season, J.J. Barea won the precious NBA title with the Dallas Mavericks with great energy but that season was his last season on contract with the Mavericks. He became a free agent this offseason while his free agency is provoking
many teams including the Utah Jazz to include him.
The Jazz’s need some valuable player at point guard position and J.J. Barea is the best available choice for the Jazz at the moment. His game has improved a lot over the past several years. Having five years of experience, Barea
would be a great asset for the Jazz.
Some recent reports have also speculated in the media about his potential chances of re-signing with the Mavericks. According to these reports, the Mavericks have showed enormous confidence on Barea’s game and wanted to retain
its all potential players including J.J. Barea who have contributed in the Mavericks’ great win against the Miami Heat on June 12th.
But if the Mavericks management does not re-sign Barea then it will be pretty easy for Jazz to offer him a good deal and sign him up for the future seasons.
Jason Richardson:
Jason Richardson is also an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He last played for the Orlando Magic in 2010-2011 season and averaged 13.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in total 55 regular season’s games.
Like other free agents, Richardson is also on Utah Jazz’s list. His tremendous consistence performance is the main reason why the Jazz’s management is thinking seriously to include him into its roster for the next seasons. His
probable inclusion in the Jazz’s roster will not only bring them some stability in its conference but will also improve the Jazz’s overall winning record in the league.
Before playing for the Magic in 2010-2011, Jason Richardson has also played for the Phoenix Suns, Charlotte Bobcats, and the Golden State Warriors.  So far, Richardson has impressed many with his individual performance wherever
he played but the time he had spent at the Golden State Warriors was outstanding. He averaged his career high 23.2 points per game in total 75 games in 2005-2006 season.
