Shawnee tribe help?????????????????

Question

I'm from a line of Shawnee and I have some Native American blood in me. One of the chiefs of the Shawnee was Kickaupalin. He had a princess in the Shawnee tribe too.(his daughter) If anyone has info on Kickaupalin...please share links, or your own info! Thanks for helping

BTW: I've done a search on Kickaupalin on google but sadly, nothing has popped up...so please don't reccomend google, even tho i know you're trying!

There is a great possibility that his name is spelled differently in other sources. (As an example chief Tecumseh is also Tikamthi.) How much differently is hard to guess but there can be major differences. Since you already have a source for the name you need to go back to it to search for additional clues. When did he live? What division if any was he part of? Is any other name mentioned that could be helpful? Once you have more information you search and see what you find. Look up lists of Shawanee chiefs and pages about the leaders in the different divisions among the Shawanee and try to find chiefs from the same time as your chief Kickaupalin. It could be a bit of a puzzle before you figure it out.
