She called the FBI...?

So, I'm a top contrib in friends, and I get a lot of IM's and emails from people who see my answers, wishing me luck, etc.

But every now and then, I get the weird girl who sends me pictures of herself, obscene or not...

And today, some woman called my cell, told me that she called the FBI, that she had all my information, and that she wanted to know how old I am.

Now I just want to know..

Will I get in trouble for a girl sending me pictures of herself, without even wanting or asking her too?

I'm a good guy... I've never done anything to hurt anyone.

Why would someone want to do this to me?

What did you do that made a woman call the FBI?  Anyway, you should try to find some way to prove that the girl is sending you stuff, if it is innapropriate.  You can get in trouble depending on how vulgar the pictures are, and if you can't prove that their not yours intentially.  Be honest and don't keep changing your story because the FBI willl get suspicious, even if you aren't lying.  For now, I think you should edit your profile and not allow anyone to email or IM you until you can find a way to prove your innocence, or until you block that freaky girl.  Good luck!

The bottom line is : Have you been corresponding with her? She sent the pictures without you asking - your favor.  She has made the obscene photos, not you - your favor.  The woman who called you, stating she had all your information, why would she then ask how old you are - your favor.  As to why she is doing this to you, maybe the girl is her daughter and was caught doing the "nasties". The reaction is to blame someone else.  And then, maybe the woman is jealous of the girl.  From what you have stated, you are in the clear.

If it is of great concern for you then document factually all that is transpired as if you were going to court.  Hopefully nothing will come of it.

WHATEVER YOU DO!!! Do not transmit the e-mail with a picture of her back to anyone!  That is a federal offense in Internet pornography image transfers.  A good case can be made to get you off the hook, with you being a victim of circumstances.  

But if this girl has a fatal attraction like in the movie Fatal Attraction [less the killing part in the movie], where she cannot understand why you don't dig her the way she does you, hence; she goes off the deep edge and sets you up for a fall.

Maybe someone called to scare you.  Did you get their number on caller id?

If you haven't had your email address to long, change it or block her email address.  You are being stalked by a cyber nut.

If you certify them that you had nothing to do with the girl sending you photo's then you wont get in trouble. Just tell them the truth,  i know this is lame but honesty is always the best policy. The reason that , that woman might be piking on you is because most of the woman target the nice guys!

why would she call the FBI. people do this ind of thing all the time. tell her that you don't know any of these people and they did not ask.

first of all that girl is CRAZY. second o all if you didnt do anything to her i dont think you have a reason to be worried about. if that woman presses charges or ssomething show the FBI the pictures she sent you they have to have the IM's recorded somewhere on her computer.

there are some very unusual people in the world. if you're sensing the potential for trouble in this (or even just unwanted attention) then let the cops (state & local) know what's going-on. it's their job to handle this sort of thing.
