She doesnt want to admit she is wrong sometimes..?

I dont think my mom can face the fact that shes wrong sometimes...

my momm is always telling us how perfect she was when she was our ages... (1-19 ) she never got slapped never got yelled at all tht good stff. she says were a stupid family and dumb asses, i know thts true but i rlly dont think she has to say she had like the best grades in high school and middle school and brag about the awards she got in college... tht doesnt help us.

anyway, like 30 mins ago my mom called me down stairs and told me to clean up the mess on the ground, she says it was my dogs pee and she goes on how horrible tht dog is blah blah blah. it wasnt my dogs pee it was water and i could tell SHE KNEW IT WAS WATER. she said i could prove its water if i licked it up, of course i didnt l**k it.. i did it the smart way i took a paper towel and whiped it up, smelled it and it was water.... she made me scrub the whole floor with soap and water. im not mad i had to clean the mess im mad tht she jst didnt addmit it was water... y didnt she just say it was water!!!

parents like to seem right and the best thing to do is agree with . Whatever they say just agree this will stop them from scolding you and your life would be easier. Sooner or later she will run out of things to say to you and then she will stop but it will take time and patience

It sounds to me like your Mom could be a bit stressed at the moment. If I were you I would keep a low profile. Stay out of the way - give her some space while she sorts herself out. Eventually she will realize you are quiet and begin to worry if you are ok!  She really does love and need you - she's just worried or tired at the moment I think.

maybe she has built up anger. i would stay out of her way, always be courteous and respectful around her but as soon as im old enough get away
