She just pees everywhere!?

I got given a puppy for graduating dux of my course.

She's really cute, but i have no idea on how to toilet train her. I can't afford to take her to puppy school.

She hates going outside the only time she's ok is when i'm with her there. Otherwise she runs up and won't stop banging her head on the door.

She just poops and pees everywhere.

Where do i start?

  1. ive just gone through this! it takes persistance!!!

when she does it, - if you see it yell NO!! (INSERT NAME HERE) then grab her and put her nose near enough that she smells it, you can rub her nose in it it does have the same effect but i rather not, then put her outside (saying OUTSIDE! (INSERT NAME HERE) shut the door and go about your business. leave her out there for about 20 minutes. never mind her nonsence trying to get back in, she will get used to it, it will be a part of her training, that she needs to be on her own sometimes to! there is nothing worse than a dog with seperation anxiety.

continue doing this procedure when she pees

if you dont see her do it you need to call her over to the spot (get her familiar with the words wee and ouside)  do the same as you would if u seen her - put her face close to it then say NO WEE! (INSERT NAME HERE) and smack her on the nose - and outside she goes for 20 mins.

whenever she is in strife ignore her for a duration of time - if she is sent outside ignore her for the 20  mins, she will hate this and she will learn not to wee inside.

another thing you can do is have a kitty litter tray inside, she will go in there as well. but i found my dog wont p**p in it, only wee. always reward the dog EVERYTIME she wee's or poops ouside or in the kitty litter! praise with good girl, pats, cuddles and a treat, be enthusiastic,

  2. If she is banging her head on the door repeatedly, I would wonder about possible brain damage.  I don't know how old you are but won't a parent pay for puppy training classes?  Do you want to keep her or give her back?  Has she been seen by a vet?  I've answered the puppy training question so many times...think I'll let someone else do it.

  3. It sounds like she is scared.Give your puppy a room with a bed and blanket food and water and some toys to keep your puppy some companie and sometimes go into your puppy's room and see her/him

  4. if its new, it will be doing that to "mark a scent". Just get it like a cat/dog litter tray, something like that. quickly, before she pees, drag her to the tray

  5. She sounds cute, I'm picturing a labrador, what kind is she? You have to take her outside, every time she does a wee inside, take her outside, possibly with the words "BAD DOG" shouted angrily. Then wait for her to do another, teach her a phrase to associate with toileting, EG "wee wees" "poo poos". But obviously you don't have to use those... But yeh, you're not supposed to leave puppies on their own really. Especially not outside. Hope this helps. Basically, make sure she knows its wrong to toilet inside, but toileting outside gets her a treat or a fuss. Association and repetition. It does get noticeably better quite quickly, don't worry.

  6. see the way I trained my dog was sort off a little mean but everytime he pood I took a news paper and hit hit hiny gently and them made em smell his own poopy then after that I took him outside and then waited for him to go outside and when he did I gave em a doggy treat
