  1. If you know that her horse is getting treated badly enough, you can call a number that you would have to find on a search engine and have her horses removed from her. If you are at a boarding barn, then you can have the owner of the barn secretly watch her with her horses and tell her parents/animal control to take them away from her. But if you know that it isn't that bad, the I would reccomend taking away all of her crops and spurs and tell her that these are only aids and should not be used to hurt your horse. Also, you could try and talk to her parents about it.

    Good luck,

    HJB

  2. Tell her to mind her own business and while she's busy doing that, tell her to quit hitting her horses.

  3. you should tell her that she needs to mind her own buisness and take care of her horses!!!!!!!!!and tell her that if she hits her horse one more time you are going to call the animal control for horse abuse. if her hitting is serious tell her this. but if it isnt p**s her off anyways!!!!!!

  4. If he looks well and is not underweight then ignore this person and realise they are not a real friend.

If he does look underweight it could be that he needs worming, horses should be wormed regularly.

  5. Feed your horse some beet pulp (or weight gaining supp) and tell her to shove it.

  6. sum horses just dont put on much weight,i had a horse just like that b4 and he was really healthy, tell her if shes so concerned then she can come watch u feed it everyday so she can see for herself,or she can take him 2 the vet 2 see for herself that nothing is wrong and ur horse is healthy

    i hope that i helped =/

    good luck =]

  7. Have a vet look at your horse, make sure it is truly healthy. Save the report and next time she mouths off about it, show the report and tell her to worry about her own animals, because she obviously doesn't know what a healthy horse is suppose to look like.

  8. Some horses just have issues with putting weight on....especially those d**n thoroughbreds!! lol.  I used to ride the skinniest tb mare ever...and it wasn't like she wasn't fed fat galore and it wasn't like she wasn't eating.  She was just fine - didn't have worms, nothing.  She just simply had problems putting on any weight.

I wouldn't worry too much what she has to say about your horse.  If vaccinations, vet checkups, wormings, etc. are all up to date and complete and your vet says that he is ultimately healthy, then there isn't too much to worry about.  She obviously is not your friend if all she can do is insult your horse.  If she went so far to call the SPCA or whatever on you, at least you have records about your horse as to how you take care of him, etc.

  9. start telling people about her horses

  10. i really wouldn't worry to much about it , for the simple reason is that the more you react the more she will act

    ( every action has a reaction )

as long as your horse is in good condition and you have a food bill to prove it just laugh at her

there is nothing more frustrating when you are trying to have a go at some one and they just laugh at you

try it it works , you will have her pulling her own hair out with

    frustration

    good luck x x x

  11. sounds like your horse is a hard keeper. have a vet assess his weight and go from there.

i doubt your horse's feelings were hurt, honestly.

and sometimes, like other pets, horses /do/ need to be hit. if a horse lunged at me to bite me, i wouldn't just stand there and say, "no!" haha, he'd learn nothing. i'd smack him.

as for the galloping, so? my horse is lazy, so he /hates/ galloping, but one of the school horses i ride sometimes /loves/ galloping. as long as her horse isn't lame, then there's no harm in galloping. [=

  12. omgosh, boo hoo.

  13. Your horse ought to sue her.  No horse should take that kind of verbal abuse.  Take your horse to see a lawyer and file a lawsuit against your friend.

  14. Listen to Miss Cherry and Puff.  Nothing is more frustrating than someone whose feathers can't be ruffled.Try not to lower yourself to your old friend's level by retaliating...it is not the mature thing to do. You know that you are feeding your horse and that is all that matters. If anyone approaches you because she has maligned you to them, simply dismiss it by saying something like "yes...I know she said that...I'm not going to dignify it with a response".  You will be respected for your maturity.

  15. talk to a vet or your parents

  16. Well, in truth, if your horse was anorexic, he would be refusing to eat and overly concerned with his blimpiness in the practice mirror. If your horse is healthy and eating, then how he looks is of no concern to this person.  Has he had his vet visit recently? maybe they can give you a health paper in case there are any repercussions. other than that, it's best to just ignore this person. That she is backstabbing you is unkind in the extreme. She is getting a rise out of you and this is what she enjoys or she wouldn't do it.

  17. well u can planly see that a lot of children hang out in the horse section. please grow up and can we talk about reall problems that people need answers too?

  18. Next time she says your horse in anorexic...look at her, smile and say "ya I know, what a shame ey" and walk away, that will tick her off and you can be the better, more mature person.  Especially saying it very seriously with a great big smile...works all the time.

  19. what the *****...im sure your horse really cares.

  20. verbal abuse is better than sexual abuse or beastiality

    So get over it
