In 2004 i had a dream during that time frame of kinda waking up ("half-asleep"). I had moved about 2 months earlier prior to this dream, but owned 3 cats back where my father was living (230 miles away). Anyway in this dream/vision, I saw my cat whome I was missing dearly. I saw her as if she were lying next to me up at my neck like she always did. I even woke up talking to her, and could feel her fur and everything. Then realized she wasn't there of course, but it was so very real. Later that day before I went to work I looked over at her picture, held it, and cried because I was just missing her. No big deal... When I got home from work that night, my father called me and said, " Sheba (cats name) is deathly i'll and can't even move, what do you wan't to do?" I told him to put her down and I was devastated. But was at ease because of the dream I had. I had felt that she was visiting me one last time, even though i was far away.

  1. I think that the un-believers have had their moments even though they didn't want them, and I know, as a believer that I have seen some magic; though I have not had as many as I would like to say that I have.  I think that interconnectedness is experienced a little by all of us for the story teller within us, and our mind's little poetic justice (karma) scale.  Maybe we just don't understand, and can not control it yet; but there always is a rational explanation walking beside it for the scientists.  Maybe you sensed that the cat was ill on a subconscious level, and your brain presented it to you in the least harmful of ways.

  2. Well on a Consciosness level we are all ONE. So its not hard to imagine that such things can happen. I felt sad reading your post. tc

  3. well i know several people who have had their dreams subconsciensly tell them something thtat became real. One lady i knew had a dream that a man in a puffy red jacket choked her kid and a week later her son had an allergic reaction and had his throat close because of a lobster. Another friend I knew had a dream that this kid that resembled her older son drowned and she tried to help him but it was to no use , later she had a miscarriage. I think that we are all connected with the universe on some level.

  4. I think it's synchronicity. The development of your cat's life, of which you had been partly aware when you still lived with your father, became unconscious to you when you moved away. But the development continued in two unconscious (to you) places: 1. at your father's place, and 2. in your subconscious. So when you moved away there was a fork in the road (of the cat's development), and both dents of the road were unconscious to you. But they did run more or less synchronously, because both were the natural continuation of the cat's development up to the point where you moved away. Thus this development led its own life in real life (at your father's place), as well as in your subconscious. There may have been many unconscious reasons why you would expect there to be an event in the cat's life at the point where you had the dream.
