wife took baby 1000 miles away 3 mths ago, refused to allow me any contact with child. Finally got a divorce hearing with temp order for me to get to visit child so wife sends me fathers day card with pics of baby in clothes that are too small for him.She took him to her parents home largely because she wanted to not work anymore even though it was just a part tme job and my business was a little slowbut we were living VERY comfortabley and NEVER had to worry about if the baby had CLOTHES, or diapers, etc ..... so you would think these Loving grandparents that are so much better off than me would buy the baby clothes and shoes if the mommy would not ... like her child support can't afford a $15 pair of shoes when she is living at her parents for FREE ...... so I speak to her about me picking up the baby and she tells me he needs a new pair of shoes because his feet do not fit in his shoes without socks !!!

so I bought him a pair of shoes and am mailing them today.....

do I tell Lawyer ?

  1. yeah you need to tell your lawyer. If you paying child support then want is she doing with it. If she not buying clothes and shoes and then I think it should be taken off the child support pay. The child support post be used on your son. If you are worried about your son well being and being cared for then you can try to get more visitation rights or custody.

  2. YES AND KEEP all your reciepts too. it will look good in court if you have a custody hearing

  3. yes and keep all your receipt's.

  4. Yes as a matter of fact i would write down anything that pertains to this to show your lawyer.  I am sorry your wife sounds like she is not wanting to be a mother.  You sound like an excellent father.  I am sorry you have to go through this.  Good luck!

  5. not only do you need to call a lawyer, but you need to call child protective services.  that is child neglect and the child needs to be removed from the situation.  You would get custody (you might have to travel to get him) unless there is some violence in your record that you would lose custody from, then he would go to foster care.

  6. i would and i would keep every last reciept of any item you buy for your child. more so if you are sending her child support cause if you are then she should have been able to get the poor kid some shoes!!!! just keep track of all you do if for some reason she cancles a visit  for you write it down just keep track of everything so you dont get screwed in the end. good luck to you
