Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne – The Miz tries to cash in his Money in the Bank contract – Part 1
It was a wild night on Monday Night RAW as the WWE Champion Sheamus walked the ramp and entered the ring. Sheamus had just defended his title at the Money in the Bank, Pay per View a day before. And now Sheamus was standing in the ring and giving his winning speech in front of the professional wrestling fans. Sheamus told the professional wrestling world that he has proved his dominance over John Cena after he defeated him in a brutal h**l in a Cell, Steel Cage Match.
However, almost everyone knew that all the winning matches of Sheamus were characterized by outside interference from Nexus, who indirectly helped him win his matches against John Cena. While Sheamus was giving his winning speech the current United States Champion, The Miz walked towards the ring. The Miz was holding his briefcase which contained the contract he won at the money in the Bank Ladder match.
The Miz grabbed the micro phone and told Sheamus that he would cash in his contract anytime he wants. While The Miz and Sheamus were involved in a heated conversation and were about to start a fight, the anonymous General Manager of Monday Night RAW sent an email to the commentator, Michael Cole. The email pleased the current United States Champion, The Miz but infuriated the WWE Champion, Sheamus.
The anonymous General Manager of Monday Night RAW announced that Miz should wait for the ideal opportunity to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. He also said that the ideal opportunity would come as the Celtic Warrior would fight the high flying Evan Bourne, right here right now. Sheamus was angry as he was in no mood to fight anyone.
The crowd cheered as the high flying Evan Bourne walked towards the ring. Evan Bourne is one of the premier high flying wrestling superstars of WWE and is the first wrestler from the state of Missouri who received a wrestling permit under the age of 18. Evan Bourne had the electricity and passion. He was all up to the challenge and he did not show any signs of fear as he prepared for the match against the WWE Champion.
The match started as Sheamus tried to execute the dreaded Brogue Kick in the very start of the fight. Evan Bourne ducked to save himself and then replied by kicking the abdomen and legs of Sheamus at a rapid speed. Evan Bourne then jumped in the air to deliver his knee to Sheamus’s chest. Sheamus fell to the ground and then rolled out of the ring. He seemed quite angry as he was being humiliated by the young wrestling superstar.
Evan Bourne was in complete control of the match as he kicked every part of Sheamus.s body. But then Sheamus ran in the ring and delivered a vicious close line to Evan Bourne and knocked him down. This was when Sheamus shifted the momentum of the match. Sheamus tried to take advantage of the close line and quickly went for the cover. The referee started counting to three but Evan Bourne kicked out before the referee could complete his three count. Both wrestlers fought hard and tried to dominate by executing hard core maneuvers and fighting styles.
Then when all was said and done, Sheamus disregarded the rules of professional wrestling and delivered a cheap shot between the legs of Evan Bourne. That made Evan Bourne vulnerable and a ready target for attack by Sheamus. The WWE Champion, Sheamus took a few steps in the ring and delivered a hard Brogue kick to the head of Evan Bourne. It was all over as Sheamus went for the cover and the referee counted to three with both Evan Bourne’s shoulders touching the ring floor.
