Sheer Mineral makeups...?

Question

I am 46 and would love to try the sheer minerals or bare minerals or whatever brand. Are they worth the high cost and I have fine lines around my eyes and I have noticed that loose powder just makes it worse. Even though I use moisturizer day and night. Usually Clinique, but due to us retiring soon, I will not be able to afford that. I will have to be Olay or something. Has anyone tried these mineral make ups and what do you think?

Remember...I am 46 with the fine lines.....

Bare minerals is good but it's also $60 for the starter kit and $30 for a new container of foundation. Everyday minerals has the same 4 ingredients as bare minerals except for bismuth oxychloride (5th ingredient) which is actually a byproduct of metal smelting and can make some peoples' skin oily and/or shiny. If you want to use a high quality mineral makeup that is less expensive, I would suggest everyday minerals. You can order a free 5 piece sample kit to try it before you buy large containers of it for the price of shipping (mine was only $3). The largest container of foundation is only $12 and they also sell a smaller size also. Mineral makeup lasts a long time because you don't have to use much to get coverage so it is very economical. You should try everyday minerals while it's still free! For your age I would suggest trying to matte, semi-matte and glo finishes to see what you like best (you get to try 3 foundations) but not the intensive because that is more for the oil control/full coverage/acne type. If you don't have makeup brushes already the ones on everyday minerals are very inexpensive.

Hi, You really need to try faerie organic minerals. I am a professional makeup artist and I deal with all ages and skin tones. Personally, I think sheer minerals SUCKS.

It makes your skin a yellow tint and makes problem areas even worse.

I heard Bare Minerals was fantastic. I want to try it but I dont have the money lol.
