South Australia trail by 69 runs at stumps on the third day of the four-day Test against Western Australia in the 17th Match of the ongoing Sheffield Shield at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth, on Wednesday, December 07, 2011.
After ending their first innings on 183 for the loss of one wicket, Western Australia came out to bat and post a mammoth total in response to South Australia’s first innings tally of 93 runs.
After no play on the second day due to rain, both teams were seeking to give a befitting performance on the third day of the game in order to grab a win.
