Sheffield Stadium Stayers, an easy journey for Farloe Kyle
Farloe Kyle is a class act, and should bag an easy victory in the Sheffield Stadium Stayers on Tuesday, October 23rd. The fawn dog was unlucky loser last time, when ending up third behind Ballymac Wander.
However, the punters should not judge him on the Monmore loss. B. Draper’s charge has an amazing Sheffield record. Prior to his recent trouncing, he registered two back-to-back triumphs here earlier this month.
After beating Bit View Royal by staggering five and a half lengths, he continued the great work, and proved too good for the opposition over 660 metres on October 9th. The son of Hondo Black quickly adjusts his game to the situation, and has done
pretty well over different distances in the past.
He knows this surface more than anyone, and will not face any difficultly in returning to the winning ways. Among his rivals are: Fabulous Adele, Tyrur Pudsy, Slaneyside Baron, Storming Coco and Luke My Lad.
Every hound needs to be on top of his stamina, as the race will be held over a long distance of 660 metres. The officials are due to start the proceedings at 21:31 GMT. A cash prize of 200 pounds is reserved for the ultimate champion.
Fabulous Adele is making her six-bend debut, and could be anything. The black b***h surely has a lot of potential, but it is hard to trust her on the first outing over this distance.
Slaneyside Baron won a similar race here last month, but this is a lot harder. So, he will need to get an early lead in order to thrive. Tyrur Pudsy is unlikely to make a fast start, and it will cost her badly.
Luke My Lad, the local grader, does not have much going for him. Storming Coco is capable of running a big race, but it is hard to recommend her. The black b***h often loses momentum after one good effort.
Fabulous Adele is the main danger to Farloe Kyle. The latter’s supporters, however, don’t need to get worried, because Fabulous Adele will be under immense pressure on her debut over this distance. We wish the best of luck to all the hounds.
