Shel i run again?

i went for a 3 an half mile run yesterday and my legs are aching today, was wondering if it wud be ok to run again today as they are aching ,or do you think i might do any damage?

  1. don't run every day, you need to give your muscles time to rest. I suggest at the most, run every second day.


  2. no i dont think you should run again

    if you really want to maybe try going for a walk

    then try running in a couple of days or when you legs are better

  3. what you are experincing is lactic acid burn.  when you use up aall your energy your body begins to burn up fat and that is the burn that you are feeling.  i would say let your muscles rest for a day or two before your next run.  mabey take a med. length walk but just take it easy ok ;D

  4. take the next day off and run every two days until you feel your body is accustomed to the workload and then you can run back to back days. Rememeber to take days off to help your muscles recover one day a week. Also ice baths help relax the legs and with the lactic acid build up which I would think your aches are from. Eat healthy and eat smart and make sure you get your calcium.

  5. you could run maybe 2 or so easy, or jus ttake today off depends how bad they hurt cuz usually when u start to run again ur legs feel better if they arent too sore
