Shelbourne Carly likely to dominate proceedings in Bet on your mobile @ Williamhill.com Stakes
Shelbourne Carly is expected to dominate proceedings in the Bet on your mobile @ Williamhill.com Stakes at Newcastle in England on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. The winner of the Grade A2 event will walk away with a cash prize of £112.
The race distance to cover for the greyhounds will be 480 metres and the event will start at 20:52 GMT. Following are the entries confirmed for the race: Shelbourne Carly, Roker Titan, Saratoga Stan, Thurlesbeg Host, Springwell Bolt and Vicarage Vieri.
The bookies have full faith in the abilities of Shelbourne Carly, who has been in decent form over the past few races. She is a seasoned runner and has been delivering consistent results since making debut.
The A. McCarroll’s trainee had finished first in her second last outing and is carrying good momentum at the moment. It will be quite hard for the rest of the hounds to match her speed and skills at Newcastle today.
In his most recent race, Shelbourne Carly managed to finish third by a close margin. She was not the favourite to win that event, but still managed to cause a lot of problems for her rivals. However, she will need an improved effort in order to finish
on top of the table today.
The black b***h is the daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Shelbourne Nina and was born in June 2009.
On the other hand, Roker Titan is also a good runner and the bookmakers expect him to fight for victory at Newcastle today. He was struggling for form for quite some time, but bounced back strongly in his most recent run.
The D. Spraggon’s trained dog finished on top of the table in his previous race, but that victory came in a different class. Despite carrying the winning momentum, Roker Titan will not find things easy today.
The seasoned dog is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Give Some More and was born in November 2009.
Saratoga Stan, Thurlesbeg Host and Springwell Bolt are also decent runners and might cause an upset at Newcastle today. However, the current form of Shelbourne Carly suggests that she will not allow anyone else to come closer in the race.
