Shelbourne Nat, a major threat to Forest Bonjo in Book The Paddock Bar 509ER Stakes at Swindon
Shelbourne Nat moved so well in the recent trials that one can easily expect her to outsmart Forest Bonjo, who is carrying the highest starting price in the Book The Paddock Bar 509ER Stakes, going down at Swindon on Saturday, September 08, 2012.
Shelbourne Nat recorded her last triumph at the start of June, when dominating the proceedings in an A2 meeting. She failed to continue her winning journey, and faced an awful loss the following time. In a 595 metres contest, the brindle b***h could only
beat the back marker.
She seems to have regained momentum following a few very fine trial races. She covered an area of 480 metres in just 28.92 seconds on her latest trip. There is nothing wrong with her rhythm at the moment. Moreover, the red vest is a huge advantage for Shelbourne
Nat, who should not disappoint her supporters.
Her biggest task will be to get the better of Forest Bonjo, who is the centre of attention. The black dog certainly deserves a lot of respect following a few very fine performances he showed lately.
P. Foster’s trainee secured the runner-up place twice after sealing a close win on August 20th. In a 630 metres contest, Pats Legacy gave him a lot of hard time all the way through, but Forest Bonjo’s late surge was good enough to bag an excellent
neck-distance success. He is undoubtedly in very good momentum, and will be hard to beat.
Call Poacher tends to find things a shade demanding this class. Wise Totty should make a better effect over a longer distance. Her recent form is a big concern though.
Droopys Harper has the ability to make up for lost ground in the second half. Silverton Blaze pays his keep over various distances on home soil. According to our calculations, M. Walsh’s charge will be in the mix.
The real rivalry is between Forest Bonjo and Shelbourne Nat. The latter does not have odds in her favour, but still should be preferred following a few decent trips she made recently. Good luck to all the hounds.
