i need help. so i will try to explain this in detail.

my shelf fell off my laptop it was open so some of the letters broke (but thats not the problem, i can still use it)

but when i opened my dvd/cd rom it would only open half way... after looking at it for some time i figured that the problem was that the metal stuff on top of the cd rom dented (pressed) so now the circle that holds the cd's gets stuck on the dent.

i need to figure out a way to undent it because if i try to play something it won't because the dent stops the "circle" from turning.

i hope you guys can help me with this.

thank you.

  1. A lot of laptops don't handle impact very well. Try and see if your insurance covers it.

  2. You can try taking it apart or buy a new cd drive for it. or see if insurance covers it or other wise you are S.O.L.

  3. uh oh. Take it to the shop to get looked at!
