Shell vs Nestle: Which would be the better choice to kick-start a career?

I am contemplating between both job offers as both seems to have excellent remuneration packages. Both Shell and Nestle also present various opportunities for excellence and personal self-development which is my career objective.

go with nestle. with the oil price hikes and oil you can never tell until when shell is stable.

I work for Nestle (the water division, Nestle Waters, to be specific) and it's truly an amazing company.  The company is incredibly well-run, and they always keep the employees' best interest in mind.

Did you know that Nestle is the largest food and beverage company in the world?  Talk about job security!  That keeps me feeling comfortable in these days of economic turmoil.

I've never worked for Shell, but I can tell you that I cannot imagine a company being better run than Nestle.
