Shelley Nitschke to retire from international cricket today after playing final against England Women

Some analysts suggest that her decision to stop the game is premature at she is in full swing yet.
Shelley, whose marvellous performances with both bat and ball have brought her team to the final of the tournament, wants to retire with an honour of victory.
Talking to the media today, Shelley said, “There are a couple of highlights that really stand out, those being the 2005 World Cup win in India and the 2010 Twenty20 World Cup victory in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 which were are very memorable experiences and were great to be part of.”
She further told, “My plan has always been to go out when I was still playing well and on my terms. I'm happy with my career and achievements and the time feels right. I'm certainly not getting any younger.”
Commenting on her retirement plan, the acting Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Australia (CA), Michael Brown, siad that Shelley had struggled a lot for the betterment of women cricket in the country and her absence would be a big loss for the national team.
Shelley has earned many glorious marks during her career. Apart from being world’s third-ranked woman batter, she has bagged last four ‘Player of the year’ titles among her team.
Shelley poses to be an opening batswoman and a left-arm orthodox spinner who always performs well at both ends.

The all-rounder has played 6 Tests, 79 ODIs and 36 T20Is so far. She has 295, 2032 and 776 runs in all three formats respectively along with 12 and 97 and 43 wickets.
